Paul Eichen is an entrepreneur, educator, and nonprofit leader with a longstanding commitment to innovation and STEM education. He is the founder and former CEO of Proxima Corporation, a pioneer in multimedia data projection technology, and later founded Rokenbok, an award-winning company that developed construction and robotics toys designed to inspire engineering play and creative problem-solving among young learners.Read more
Inspired by stories from parents and educators whose children pursued STEM fields after engaging with Rokenbok products, Paul went on to found Kid Spark Education, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making STEM learning accessible, engaging, and hands-on for students and teachers. He earned a master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego and has served as a Senior Teaching Fellow and Adjunct Professor at USD. Paul has also served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including San Diego Coastkeeper, the San Diego Foundation, and Little Village Foundation. Paul and his wife, Susan Flieder, a respected former member of the San Diego Diplomacy Council Board of Directors, have long shared a commitment to international understanding, education, and community engagement.
