2016 Diplomacy Gala: An Inspiring, Informative and Fun Evening

October 25, 2016 Leave a Comment

Us Consul In TijuanaWe enjoyed an inspiring, informative and fun evening at our 2016 Diplomacy Gala this past Saturday. We are grateful for the substantive and very interesting keynote address from PBS NewsHour‘s Margaret Warner, and the warm welcoming remarks by Congresswoman Susan Davis. The Diplomacy Council showcased its work to an audience of 200 guests including diplomats such as the U.S. Consul General William A. Ostick, elected officials, business and civic leaders. We were so proud to present our citizen diplomat awards to Hera-LABS‘ Silvia Mah and the Port of San Diego. This event was a great success thanks to the support of individuals and businesses who sponsored the event: Sempra Energy, Chinyeh Hostler, George Hardy, the Port of San Diego, the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles, Quantum Design, Aeromexico, San Diego International Airport, The San Diego Foundation, Sureride and Morgan Stanley.

Join us for dinner, drinks, dancing, and diplomacy!
