Building a Shared Vision for the Future

The San Diego Diplomacy Council will be hosting the annual Binational Youth Summit on March 5, 2025, at CETYS Universidad, Tijuana, at San Diego State University. This landmark event designed to cultivate the next generation of global leaders from the San Diego-Tijuana region. The one-day Summit will bring together over 200 high school students and educators from both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, offering unparalleled opportunities for hands-on learning, leadership development, and cross-cultural engagement. Building on the success of our inaugural 2024 Summit at San Diego State University, which attracted over 220 participants from 20 schools, we are poised to make an even greater impact in 2025.

Foster Binational Relationships

Strengthen collaboration between students and educators across borders, promoting mutual understanding and building lasting connections.

Develop Leadership & Civic Engagement Skills

Equip students to navigate and address pressing global issues such as climate change, corporate social responsibility, immigration, and human rights.

Increase Diversity in Global Leadership

Inspire underrepresented students to pursue international careers and become global leaders.

Empower & Connect Educators

Provide teachers with tools to integrate international affairs into their curricula and facilitate binational classroom projects.
