Sixth Annual Community Conference on Restoring Civility to Civic Dialogue “Rebuilding Civility”

On April 18^th at the University of San Diego’s Institute for Peace and Justice held their sixth annual conference for “Rebuilding Civility”. The San Diego Diplomacy Council moderated a panel of students from many of the San Diego Universities. They discussed the important roles that students, teachers, and bi-partisan non profit organizations, such as the San Diego Diplomacy Council can profoundly effect by engaging our local and global community in a respectful, civic dialogue pertaining to issues of immigration, diversity, and conflict resolution.

We are grateful for the University of San Diego’s Carl Luna, PH.D, the Director of the Institute for Civil Civic Engagement and Noelle Norton, Ph.D, Dean, College of Arts and Sciences for extending SDDC an invitation to participate during “Building Civility from the Local to the Global” panel.
