11 visitors from the People’s Republic of China will be coming to make professional connections in San Diego to examine current energy supply, demand, and production while considering the challenges in meeting present and future energy needs across the globe. The visitors will review U.S. national energy policy and approaches to securing energy resources. This includes efforts to expand and diversify the energy supply, increase investment in research and technology, and strengthen international cooperation. They will explore the U.S. experience in developing new energy sources. They will also explore promoting affordable, clean, and efficient energy from traditional, alternative, and renewable sources.
