15 delegates will be coming from African countries to make professional connections in San Diego exploring how to promote best practices for facilitating and increasing intra-African trade and explore opportunities to lower trade and investment barriers for U.S. companies; through engagement with U.S. private sector leaders, provide exposure to the competitiveness factors and conditions that U.S. firms look for in evaluating commercial opportunities in Africa; examine the legal and regulatory systems and processes that allow business to flourish; identify policies that may discourage the growth of business; and explore various models, support mechanisms, and innovations that can support the growth of private investment.
