On Thursday, December 1, 2016, the San Diego Diplomacy is co-sponsoring an event in conjuction with the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice and the San Diego-based organization Breaking the Silence Together to raise awareness about human sex trafficking – “Walk in Their Shoes: Standing with Survivors of Sex Trafficking”. The event will provide a platform for victims to share their stories and an opportunity for community members to learn about ways to support victims and the organizations working to prevent trafficking and promote healing.
