Congratulations to Carolina Ramos and Michele Maignan!

February 5, 2018 Leave a Comment

We are proud to announce that the U.S. Department of State and Meridian International Center have awarded Carolina Ramos of the San Diego LGBT Community Center a grant to travel to Haiti to conduct HIV awareness training programs with Michele Maignan, founder of Belle Creole.

The San Diego LGBT Center team hosted Michele last Fall as part of our Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative – YLAI program. Michele is founder of Belle Créole, a micro-enterprise program in Haiti that empowers people living with HIV and AIDS. Congrats to you both and thank you for the important work that you do!
