We brought local performance group Crew Percussion to Kuwait on a music and cultural exchange! In Kuwait City they have performed at the Modern Heritage Festival and teach workshops at LAPA‘s Festival of Art and Dance.
Last Sunday, we have witnessed how percussion can unite people together in Kuwait City thanks to Crew Percussion, an energetic ensemble specialized in performances with unconventional instruments.
We have been so welcomed thanks to our partners LAPA(LOYAC Academy of Performing Arts), who made this event into a big success together!
The event took place as closing performance of the Modern Heritage Festival at Al Shaheed Park. We were successful to draw attention and show people how everyday objects can become a inspirational source of new sounds.
