The San Diego Diplomacy Council is proud to announce our next chapter of the Collingsworth Global Social Hour series, ‘Celebrating International Day of Women and Girls.’ Join us at Our Lady of Peace for a chance to take part in a series of discussions surrounding the importance of women’s current issues, both at a local and global scale.

The Our Lady of Peace Academy is a nearly 135-year-old institution, and the only remaining all-girls’ school in San Diego. We are honored to host this event at this historical location, and committed to their mission of empowering girls and women. Please join us in our pursuit of taking necessary steps to build bridges between San Diego and the rest of the world and protect both girls’ and women’s rights locally and globally.

The Collingsworth Global Social Hour Series is possible because of the tremendous support of our remembered friend, Arthur J. Collingsworth, and his partner Brian Simmons. Collingsworth was an American United Nations official, international student exchange executive, consultant on international fundraising and real estate investor. He lived in in San Diego, Japan, The United Kingdom, Czech Republic and Germany and was a great supporter of the San DIego Diplomacy Council and our LGBT Diplomacy efforts.
