Meet Chef Cesar Trinito Freitas Gaio

Cesar Gaio is an East-Timorese chef who started a mobile kitchen called Delicious Timor in February 2015. Using his savings and small investments from two friends, Mr. Gaio was also able to open a restaurant of the same name six months later and since then serve his clients with local Timorese cuisine made from fresh products.

After one year studying cooking overseas, Mr. Gaio became an entrepreneur hoping for the East Timor prosperous era. He hires local staff and invests in local products to make his contribution to the growth and change in his country.

While managing his Mobile Restaurant & Cafe and Food Catering, Mr. Gaio organizes and supervise day to day operation at the central kitchen and making sure food is been produced based on Timor-Leste’s Ministry of Health standard.
