Up to 25 participants from various countries will be making virtual professional connections in San Diego exploring the following specific objectives for the project outlined by the Department of State:

• Provide an overview of current technological trends in education;
• Assess how new technologies impact student learning, including the advantages and disadvantages;
• Examine partnerships between educational institutions and private business or philanthropic organizations;
• Explain teacher training and continuing education on working with new technologies; and
• Demonstrate how technology is integrated into existing curriculum
