In partnership with the
Women’s Museum of California, the San Diego Diplomacy Council would like to invite you to its next Global Social Hour: Women in Peace & Security. The event will convene
thirty-two women leaders from European and Western Hemisphere countries in government ministries, security sectors, and civil society organizations. President Pro Tem Barbara Bry will welcome our international visitors, which include Angelic Del Castilho Alihusain from Suriname, Adriana Behana Cruz from Mexico, Maria Camilleri Calleja from Malta, and Fatima Lahnait from France.
These women will be sharing their experience on how they advocate for peace, promote stability, and improve security conditions in their communities and countries. The event will provide a unique social forum for San Diego professionals, students and residents to learn from and personally interact with these exceptional international women leaders. Appetizers and wine will be served.
Visitors will be coming from Croatia, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Ireland, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Vatican City, Bolivia, Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Suriname, and Venezuela.
