6 visitors from Argentina will be coming to San Diego to explore the mechanisms of MPA creation and implementation including implementation of regulations; explore MPA management from the federal, state, and local government perspectives; deepen understanding of the impacts of MPAs on sustainable fishing and the fishing industry as a whole; examine the day to day administration of MPAs on the ground; increase understanding of how to create an academic training program for the management of MPAs.
