12 visitors from Saudi Arabia will be coming to make professional connections in San Diego exploring the following specific objectives for the project outlined by the Department of State:

• Provide an overview of the U.S. system of education;
• Explore the roles of government agencies, NGOs, and local community organizations in school governance;
• Familiarize participants with current trends in curriculum design, textbook creation, and the training of teachers in the United States; and
• Expose participants to the study of and incorporation of religion in public and private schools.
