Up to 15 participants from Europe will be making virtual professional connections in San Diego exploring the following specific objectives for the project outlined by the Department of State:
- Discuss foreign policy issues of concern to Europe and the United States, including counter-terrorism and security, transatlantic relations, the changing roles of international organizations such as NATO and the United Nations, trans-boundary environmental policy issues, and global trade trends which frame positions in U.S. foreign policy; and
- Expose participants to the various players in U.S. foreign policy formulation and to a range of policy views in the public and private sectors.
