The San Diego Diplomacy Council recently hosted a group of 9 Mexican Congressional staff who met with local officials and civil society organizations in San Diego to discuss cross-border commerce, migration, and social services. As part of their program, they attended the U.S.-Mexico Border Mayors Association 2017 Binational Summit where they got a chance to introduce themselves to City of San Diego’s Mayor Kevin Faulconer and learn more about Baja California binational collaboration.
