From Internship to International Relations, a Path at SDDC
Rooted in its mission to facilitate people-to-people diplomacy, the San Diego Diplomacy Council (SDDC) holds internship opportunities for undergraduate juniors through graduate-level students to gain hands-on experience while working for a nonprofit in San Diego. SDDC fosters the professional growth of all interns to prepare them for a career in a variety of disciplines.
Deniz Guzeldere was a Program Intern at SDDC and is a recent graduate from the Master of Arts in International Relations (MAIR) program at the University of San Diego (USD). Through MAIR, Guzeldere is a contributing author for How to Land the Perfect Internship in International Relations: Your Guide to Succeeding in the Field. The book focuses on the ins and outs of finding an international relations internship, pulling from the experiences of all contributing authors, to craft a blueprint to entering the professional world. Find out more in USD’s article, “USD International Relations Students Publish Book for Students Seeking Internships.”
We are so proud of you, Deniz and colleagues! Congratulations, and thank you for including the San Diego Diplomacy Council in this great achievement.
